Why this page is relining-specific, and how to read it

Most plumbing review pages mix every job a business has ever done into one wall of stars: hot water repairs, tap replacements, gas fitting and drain relining all counted the same way. That tells you the business is generally fine, but not whether it's actually good at trenchless pipe relining specifically, which is a narrower skill than general plumbing. This page is only ever going to show feedback about relining and CCTV inspection work. If we add general plumbing feedback anywhere on this site in future, it will be labelled as such, not folded into a number that makes the relining feedback look bigger than it actually is.

What a useful review actually tells you

A useful review names what work was carried out, a CCTV inspection, a full reline or a point repair, roughly where in the property it happened, and whether the problem it was meant to solve actually went away afterwards. A generic "great service, highly recommend" tells you the customer was happy at the time, not whether the pipe is still working. When reviews go live on this page, we'll show them as written, including any that aren't five stars, because a page that only ever shows perfect reviews isn't a standard we'd ask you to judge a contractor against either.

What to ask a previous customer

If you know someone who's had a pipe relined, in Perth or anywhere else, the useful questions are practical ones: how long ago the work was done, whether the same problem has come back since, whether the crew explained what the CCTV inspection found before starting, and whether the quote was written down before any work began. Those answers say more about whether the fix actually held than a star rating does.

What to check before you commit

Before booking any pipe relining job, it's worth checking a few things yourself: whether the business is licensed for plumbing work in WA, whether it will put a written scope in front of you before starting, and whether warranty terms are explained plainly and in writing rather than as a number on a page.
