Pipe Relining Case Studies

Every case study here is a job we actually completed in Perth, described honestly rather than staged for a brochure. The photographs are our own crew on our own jobs. Where a diagram tells you more than a photo can, such as what changes inside the pipe, you get the diagram instead.

Cross-section of a relined pipe: the original host pipe on the outside, the cured resin liner bonded to its inner wall, and the restored open bore at the centre.

Case studies

Most of the jobs we complete are residential work like the one below. See ourresidential pipe relining page for what that typically involves.

More case studies get added here as jobs are completed and properly documented. We're not going to publish a count that isn't real, so for now, this is the one.

What a case study covers

Every case study on this site follows the same shape: the problem the property owner noticed, what the CCTV inspection actually found, which method fixed it and why, and what the outcome looked like once the liner had cured. No dollar figures we can't verify for that specific job, and no customer quote unless the customer gave us one. Below is the kind of change relining typically makes to the inside of a damaged pipe. For the process behind it, see how pipe relining works.

What changes inside the pipe

Damaged host pipe cross-sectionA pipe wall with scale build-up narrowing the bore, a crack through the wall, and tree roots intruding through a joint.
Before

Root intrusion, a cracked wall or scale build-up narrows the bore and slows drainage.

Relined pipe cross-sectionThe same pipe with a smooth liner bonded against the original wall, restoring a clear, round bore.
After

A bonded liner runs the full length of the affected section, restoring a smooth, round bore.
